What we protect

Most owners care about more than the price.

Your customers

The relationships you built stay the way they are. We do not plan to change what customers already trust.

Your team

We buy businesses because of the people who run them, and we plan to keep them.

Your name

Your reputation is a big part of what makes the business worth owning, and we treat it that way.

Questions owners ask

Is our conversation confidential?

Yes. We sign an NDA before you share any financial detail, and we do not contact your employees or customers without your permission.

Will you work with seller financing?

Yes. Many owners who are retiring prefer to be paid over time. We are glad to structure a purchase where the seller carries a note, and we can combine that with other financing when it makes sense for both sides. We explain the terms plainly and you can compare them with other offers.

I am looking to retire. Is this a good fit?

It can be. We talk through how much time you want to stay, how you want to be paid, and what you want for your team and customers, then build the offer around that. If it is not the right fit, we will say so.

Do I have to stay after the sale?

That is up to you and what the deal needs. Many sellers stay for a transition period so customers and staff feel the change is smooth. We plan that with you.

Can you work with my broker?

Yes. If you have a broker, we are glad to work through them. If you do not, we can talk to you directly.

Do you need a licensed person to run the business?

For licensed trades we plan for it from the start, and it is one of the first things we discuss, along with how your license holder fits into the handoff.

How do you decide what my business is worth?

We look at the earnings, how much depends on you personally, the customer base, equipment and the trends over several years. We explain how we got to our number, and you are free to compare it with other offers.

How long does a sale take?

It varies with the business and the lender. Most deals financed with an SBA loan take a few months from agreement to closing. We tell you what to expect at each stage so nothing surprises you.

What happens to my employees?

We buy businesses because of the people who run them. Our plan is to keep the team in place and to talk with you about how and when to tell them.

Will you keep my company name and customers?

In most cases yes. Your name and reputation are a big part of what makes the business worth owning, and we do not plan to change what customers already trust.

Do I need to prepare anything before we talk?

No. A short note about what the business does, roughly how big it is and when you might want to sell is enough to start. We ask for the rest after an NDA.

What about my real estate and equipment?

We cover this early. Some sales include the equipment and vehicles, and the property may be sold or leased separately. We settle what is in and what is out in writing.

What does it cost me to talk to you?

Nothing. There are no fees for an introductory conversation, and we do not ask sellers to pay to be considered.

What if we cannot agree on a deal?

Then we part as friends. Your information stays confidential under the NDA, and we would still be glad to hear from you later if things change.

What if I am not ready to sell yet?

That is fine. Many owners start a conversation a year or more before they sell. Reach out any time with no obligation.
